Now, I do have a wife and two kids, so I'm not really trying to impress anyone, either. If I'm single and ready to mingle, I lose a ton of weight and have a huge spare tire that I have to tuck into my pants in order to go out in public, not to mention the horror of possibly undressing in front of a new boyfriend/girlfriend if it came down to it, this tummy tuck thing could be a real possibility.
So to summarize: If it makes YOU happy, you have loose skin frorm having a baby or from dropping weight through hard work/diet/exercise, it's important to you to have a great physique, you frequent places where it's normal to be at least partially naked (like the beach), you want to impress people in general and/or your significant other, you're not addicted to plastic surgery, and the problem is legitimately serious enough to address surgically, GO FOR IT.
It's those people who are already in perfect shape or have some type of body dysmorphic disorder where they think they're fat that drive me crazy when they get things like this done. There WILL be scars from this procedure, and I'd be willing to bet that the scars make these people uglier than they ever were beofre.
