Does this equation have no solution

log3(x-3)= - 4 the first 3 is a subscript. like below the log.
i factored it out to this
(x-3)=3^-4
(x-3)=1/81
=no solution is this correct?

Just add 3 or 243/81 to both sides
x-3+3=1/81 +243/81
x= 244/81
x=3.0123 (approx.)

no the given question has answer... viz 244/81

no x=1/81+3 which is 244/81
