Greetings!
i am a 21 year old student who spends a lot of time lifting weights at the gym. i started getting serious about it almost 3 years ago, and for about the last year, ive been taking in a lot of supplements to give me that extra boost.
for a short while i took protein once a day, but ive never been very consistent on my intake. i also usually take one multi vitamin and one fish oil capsule with a tall glass of water every day (better hair better skin better errrthang baby!(: )
the one thing that worries me most that ive been taking pretty consistently are pre-workout supplements. ive used a lot of jack3d, a few canisters of MP assault, and 2 canisters of C4. im not too educated on the ingredients of these products, but i know every single one of them contains creatine. because of this, every stupid preworkout that i take advises that you ingest (an insane) 120 oz of water a day. i usually dont get anywhere near that while working out. ive tried hard to up my water intake but i just cant make a habit out of it.
SO, MY QUESTION IS...can a doctor take a look at me to make sure all my organs are doing fine? i know that not ingesting enough water has a really terrible effect on the kidneys. is there some kind of examination a doctor could give an order to check on all that to make sure im not headed for anything bad a few years down the road?
also, id appreciate any tips you may have to help me flush out all the baddies in my body. other than upping my water intake and sticking to my omega 3/multivitamin combo, is there anything else i could do to take better care of my body from the inside?
thanks in advance!(:

At 21, you should know that we are not medically trained and neither is the internet. If you want to see a real doctor, then you go to a clinic (community or state-run), the ER, urgent care, or a private practice doc.
If you want a doctor's help, you need to see them and be examined. If you have questions about certain things....ask them about it. They will tell you what they can and cannot do plus give you referrals in order to take care of your condition, etc.
Also...talk to a doctor about how to take better care of yourself. Every person is different and we aren't trained in giving you a real response.
