i didn't watch the video but i can tell you for sure you are asking about propofol, a milky fatty liquid. it's used for sedation/anesthesia and only doctors can push it.
in anesthesia, they will most likely use another agent as well in combination with the propofol, like Versed for its synergistic action. it causes drowsiness, relieves anxiety, and prevents any memory of the event.
oh, btw when i tried the link in order to answer ur 2nd question, the link didn't work.
depending on the extensiveness of the surgery/ patient's preference, they have different options, but yes, that is the main purpose of the anesthesia, in order for you not to feel anything (and it's meant for your own comfort but also for the stability of your vital signs and increased likelihood for good outcome of the procedure, because when you have pain, your heart rate goes up, you start hyperventilating, your blood's pH increases, your grafts can collapse or you can bleed out)

Yeah you won't feel a THING . Anesthesia completely knocks you out, after the surgery the anesthesia will slowly wear off and you'll start waking up in the recovery room.
