Is it possible to be a vet who doesn't do surgery

all my life i've loved animals more than anything in this world and i've always said i wanted to be a vet. but i also could never stand gore and the inside of bodies. is it possible to be a vet but not a surgent vet? and have a co-worker put the animals to sleep(cause i would never be able to do that either)

You wouldn't be able to be a veterinarian but you could probably be a vet assistant or vet technician but they don't make much money. I suggest doing something else for your job and maybe volunteering at a humane society or vet office so you can still be around and help animals
