Is that the posterior or the anterior/am I using the right words?
-
Posterior Dorsal Region....depends on what the spinal tap is for.
Anterior Refers to the front of the body
Posterior refers to the back side
yes your using the right words
Dorsal also refers to the back side but speaking generally of the spine region.
Spinal taps are used for many things;
back pain/cortisone injections
Cerebral Spinal fluid checks
Epidurals
And so on
They are very painful and not fun at all.`
Vee, if you have anymore questions email me directly my woman and I are both nurses and we would be glad to help.

The spine is located posteriorly. Therefore a spinal tap would be done posteriorly in the lumbar spine region to prevent spinal cord injury.

seriously??? With a name like SPINAL Tap, it would be obvious.
