y=(1/3x^3) - (5x) - (4/x)
Dont use the shortcut method.-By (1/3x³), do you mean (1/3) x³ or 1/(3x³)? Ill assume the latter.
f(x) = 1/(3x³) - 5x - 4/x
f(x) = lim[h→0] (f(x+h) - f(x)) / h
. . . = lim
My teacher was showing us how to draw a triangle with 4 right angles, everyone drew theirs and we even counts the angles, everyone understood what was happening except me.. could someone please explai
8 sqrt(8^x+6)
The first 8 is not in front but on the square root symbol. I dont know how to answer these kind of problems. help-You use the chain rule, and the power rule. Answer in prettyprint availa
Given g(x)= x^2+12x find a g(3) b(g-5) and C(0)
(3)^2+12(3)=
9+36=45
now for b-
(-5)^2+12(-5)
25+(-60)=-35
and I know the next one is zero when I replace all the xs with 0.
So did I do this right?
How do I find f(g(x)) if f(x) = sq root all of x-5.. and g(x) equals absolute value of all of 4-x^2. The answer is suppose to be sqrt x^2-9-g(x)=|4-x^2| and f(x)=sqrt(x-5)
f(g(x)= =f(|4-x^2|) = sqrt(|
I got the equation and its x-1, but I dont know how to answer the second problem. Use it to calculate approximate values forln(1.2) and ln(2.5). How do I calculate the approximate values?.-y(x) = ln(x
An arrow is shot at an angle of 33º above the horizontal with a velocity of 26.5 m/s. When the arrow lands back on the ground, how far did it travel horizontally? Round your answer to 2 decimal places
i need to Determine the point at which the graph of the function has a horizontal tangent line in this: f(x)=3x^2/x^2+7........i apparently need a (x,y) value. but i cant figure it out no matter what
Ive been having a horrible day and this is just making it so much worse.How do you do this?! :(

find the limit of the function, if it exists as x and y approach zero[y^2sin^2(x)]/[x^4+y^4]
[xy]/[x^2+y^2]^(1/2)
Much appreciated!-1) Try different paths to the origin.
x = 0 ==> lim(y→0) 0/x^4 =
Write the equation of the line which passes through (5, –2) and is parallel to x = 4. (1 point) if you know it please help me :P-line equetion in general is

Given f(x)=x^2+2x-3, find f^-1(x). If u didnt know f^-1 is basically the inverse of f(x)-y = x^2 + 2*x - 3
x = y^2 + 2*y - 3
y^2 + 2*y = x + 3
y^2 + 2*y - (x + 3) = 0
a = 1, b = 2, c =- ( x + 3)

Solving for xx^2 -3x = - 2
Find the zeros of f (x) =- 4(x-1)^2 + 4-x^2 - 3x = -2
Moving all values to the left side:
x^2 - 3x + 2 = 0
Factor:
(x - 2) * (x - 1) = 0
Solving, you get x = 1 and x =
