((2x)^(2))-((5)(xy))+((3)(y)^(3))-(32)=0 at(-1,2)
Im having trouble figuring out why exactly I only place dy/dx for -5x and 9y^2-Im assuming you did the differentiation correct and just wondering the
i really cant solve this and its been bugging me. im really not a lazy person whos trying to get someone else to do my work for me but i seriously cant do this! ive thought about it but i cant think o
Hey all, need some help checking my solution for this problem:
y = (3x-4)/(2x+5)^4-Ill go into more detail..
y = (3x-4)/(2x+5)^4
when using logs, division switches to subtraction
ln y = ln (3x-4)
use the formula:D = √(x2-x1)² + (y2-y1)²
just your points into it
so:D = √(-1- -7)² + (6-2)²D = √(6)² + (4)²D = √(36 + 16)D = √(52)D = 7.211-(36+16)^1/2
= 7.21
=) Good luck with your math-4^2+6^2=52
Whenx³ + ax² + 2x + 9 is divided by x - 1 the remainder is 7.
What is the remainder when x³ + ax² + 2x + 9 is divided by x + 1?
So I know we add the opposite I thought, to get P(-1) = (-1)³ +a(-1)²+2
And vise versa? I think i spelt the wrong, whoops.

Your question makes as much sense.

I have an exam tomorrow and our teacher gave us some revision questions on complex numbers. There were three that I could not do and we did not have time in class to solve them. Here they are:

The coordinates of ABC are A(1,5), B(4,4) and C(8,6). Given that P is the foot of the perpendicular from A to BC find the coordinates of P and equation of AP
i tried to use the midpoint formula for P
State the correct answer:
f(x) is an even function with domain all real numbers which is continuous for all values of x and differentiable for all values of x
A- f(x) is always an odd function
B- f(x
First thing is to find a pair of numbers that will multiply to 40, but one of them must be a square number.
In this case it would be √10√4
Notice √4 = 2
Therefore we have 2√10
