Is it true that if pigs fly then you should always carry an umbrella?
Your question makes as much sense.
Most students find geometry harder because it is not just a collection of processing rules. You have to actually think sequentially, probably for the first time in your life. Just draw lots of pictures and learn the basics from the beginning of geometry and the rest will be challenging but not impossible. Some students even like it, especially those who enjoy solving puzzles. Those who think more visually find it easier than algebra.
I simply found them to be different with neither one more difficult that the other. Either way, it is all doable if you apply yourself and get help early on of you are confused.

It depends on the person. You cannot ascertain the truth value of such a subjective question.

I've heard it's true, I'm pretty good at geometry but algebra is like Greek to me =]
