No. Although I have no moral issue with using bio-technology where living things are amalgamated into technological products such as OLED screens. The difference is that one is creating intelligent life (no matter how unintelligent we consider insects to be they do have basic processing function) and the other simply exploits life to perform a technological task. Making life is much more difficult.
I know you probably weren't expecting a proper answer and that you were probably thinking about those little mechanical bugs you can get from Brookstones/Sharper Image etc but if you ask a reasonable question, you get a reasonable answer.
