Help with this absolute value? best answer gets 10 points, & I'll answer yours :)

|x| = 0-|x| = 0 means x = 0 or x = -0.But -0 is the same as 0, so the only solution is x = 0.Hope that helps :)-x=0

How to solve Quadratics by Factoring

Help with one precalculus question

2cosx+1=0 for x-2cos x + 1 = 0 Subtract 1 from each side: 2cos x = -1 Divide each side by 2: cos x = -1/2 Take the inverse cosine of both sides: x = arccos(-1/2) x = 120 degrees (2pi/3 radians)

On adding 4 to a number, it becomes a perfect square and if we add 29 to it, it becomes a perfect cube. Find t

Look at your perfect squares and perfect cubes and work backwards. squares: 4916253649 6481 100 cubes: 8 27 64 125 subtract 4 from squares and add 29 until you get a cube 96 + 4 = 100 96 + 29 = 12

How do I do these two math problems

3(y-2)=6(y-1)-3y and 3a+21 = 7-4A-3y-6 = 6y - 6 - 3y 3y-6 = 3y-6 y = whatever you want. There are infinite solutions. 3a + 21 = 7 - 4a 3a + 4a = 7 - 21 7a = -14a = -2-for the first one, you distrib
