For example, walk me through sin^-1(1)

On this example, disregard most things you see and think to yourself. What angle makes sin 1. i got the 1 from the 1 in parenthesis. Maybe a better example would be sin^-1 (1/2). Which means at what angle is sin 1/2. The angle is pi/6, commonly referred to as a special angle, is the answer.
So sin^-1 (1) would equal the angle where sin is 1 which would be the quadrantal angle pi/2
So sin^-1 (1) would equal the angle where sin is 1 which would be the quadrantal angle pi/2
