Simplify 3-2(x)+4-5x+1

1)solve the (x) by multiply with 2

you should get 3-2x+4-5x+1

2)try rearrange the eq if you want to get better view

-5x-2x+4+1+3

solve it ... -7x + 8

-
1. 3-2(x)+4-5x+1

2. Multiply 2 times x
3-2x+4-5x+1

3. Combine like terms

3+4+1=8

-2x-5x=-7x

4. The answer is 8-7x

Hope this helps:)
