Calculus question. Logarithms and such

How would you solve equations like these:

5^(2x)+5^x-12=0

I know you have to use logarithms but how? It says to find the solution in terms of natural logarithms.

Please and thank you.

-
5^(2x) + 5^x - 12 = 0

(5^x + 4)(5^x - 3) = 0

5^x = -4 is not possible

5^x = 3 --> x = ln(3)/ln(5)

-
solve (5^x + 4)(5^x - 3) = 0
