Changing decimal to a fraction question

Before reducing you can alternately put it as 50 on top, 100 on the bottom.0.43 is 43% of 1 and will not reduce further so 43 on top, 100 on the bottom-Use your calculator........
I need help on 2 problems.
First, 0.5 (there is a bar on top of the five)
Second, 0.43 (there is a bar on top of the 43)

Change those 2 decimals into a fraction.

0.5 is half of 1 so you could put 1 on top, 2 on the bottom, in reduced form.
