[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 11-09-17] [Hit: ]
which of the following represents an odd integer?A.B.C.D.E.......
What is the square root of :
- √ 121

Also I have some phrase to a variable expression questions:

1) the quotient when the sum of a number A and B is divided by their product.
2) If 2n-1 represents an even integer, write an expression to represent the next greater odd integer.
3) If N is an integer, which of the following represents an odd integer?
A. n-2
B. n-1
C. n
D. n+1
E. n+2

-
-sqrt(121) = -11

1) (A+B)/(A*B)

2) 2*n - 1 = even

=> next greatest odd integer is 2*n - 1 + 1 = 2*n

3) There is not enough information given above for this problem to answer it. If the question asked, "If N is an even integer, which of the following represents an odd integer?", then the answer could be either B) and D). If the question asked, "If N is an odd integer, which of the following represents an odd integer?", then the answers would be A) and C) and E)

-
- √ 121 = -11
Square root of - √ 121 = √-11 = i√11

1]
(A + B) / AB = 1/A + 1/B

2]
next odd = 2n -1 +1 = 2n

3]
n is integer odd or even? this is incomplete question

-
1) I don't no how to do this one sorry

2) 2n+1 will represent the next greater odd integer.

3) D. represents an odd integer

-
sq rt of -121 is -11

1.) (A+B)/(AB)

I could just be dumb, but I think you may have misread or mistyped #2 and #3

-
the square root of -121 is -11.
