& how is precipitate related to soluble and insoluble?
-
If there was a precipitate, you would see small solid pieces settling to the bottom of the solution. This means that there is either an insoluble compound in solution, or the solution is past saturation point.
-
If the solution is soluble its not a precipitate...if it is insoluble or slightly soluble then its a precipitate (meaning a solid forms)
-
You would see a solid forming when two solutions are mixed.
