- As for an answer, look up Abiogenesis, all aspects have been proven by the University of Manchester.
If you don't know, why can't you admit you have faith that it did?
- Again, brain trust, ask a scientist, but like all brain dead fundies, you want 3 PhD's worth of information in 25 words or less.
- You brought up faith brain trust, that has to do with belief and deities, not science.

Yummy Elephant Candy say: i have faith the dictionary contains the word guillible

Jea say: Physics is the word you seek.
Contrary to your unsubstantiated claim, cells don't "make themselves".
Your assumption of magic can't be supported except by more conjecture.

TheKitten say: The cell is not the first step in the development of life. It is a relatively advanced stage.
First, one looks at the appearance of RNA, which precedes DNA, which precedes the cell.
The Earth's chemical make-up was ripe for this development.
But modern science does not understand life as a separate "substance" arising from non-life. Posed this way, the question smacks of Greek philosophical categories and is not a scientific question in the modern sense.

Paul say: There was no life on Earth for many millions of years. This is a known fact. Then simple marine organisms appeared. This is a known fact. Then slightly more complex marine organisms. Known fact. What does this have to do with atheists?

GodsLOL say: God of the Gaps fallacy

Kate say: I believe you're confused on what an atheist is. A theist is someone who believes that a god created everything. An atheist is someone who doesn't believe that there is a god or does not have a religious faith. An ANTItheist is someone who denies the existence of a god. What you're talking about is an antitheist. Even that said, just because someone doesn't have faith that there is a god does not mean they can have no faith at all. You can have faith that you did well on a test or that you will enjoy something. You can have faith that things will go wrong or that someone dislikes you. Faith is a strong trust in someone or something, not just a god. So, just because someone doesn't believe in a god does not believe they can't believe in some other way that life was created.
