answers:
say: So you don't want to put the deer out of her misery. You don't want to call animal control or any other service. You don't want to spend money.

BUT you do want to get on here and ask "what should I do?" after you've eliminated all the answers. Absolutely brilliant.
-
RAT M say: I know I would rather be shot than starve or be eaten by coyotes .
-
va2906 say: Just make sure your smoker is prepped and ready to go!
-
Xolo Mom say: If it is legal in your area and she is hurt badly enough to warrant ending her suffering then yes, whether you like it or not, shooting her might be the most humane thing to do. However, I prefer to let nature take its course. What we see as a poor, hurt deer might just be the next meal for a predator. By taking this deer out of nature to save it or shoot it for your own freezer or whatever, a predator who is in dire need of a meal might starve. Or she might recover and go on to live her life.

I believe she should just be left alone unless the injury was human inflicted.

daniel g say: The only thing right is to call your local wildlife office and have a professional pick up the animal so it can be cared for.
You can't do it.
-
saucy minx say: Call animal control kid.
-
JenVT say: Call your local Game Warden or Animal Control officer.
-
CDog say: Call Fish and Game.
-
Paisley say: Call the non-emergency police line. They can direct it to animal control to come euthanize her.
-
Julie D. say: Call the non-emergency number of your local police department and they will either have a cop come out and shoot it or they'll send animal control to do the job. If not that, a police officer will be able to tell you who to call in this situation. Why make the mention about not having her shot? If she's seriously injured, she can not fend for herself and SHE will end up being food for another animal or die a horrible and painful death. Sometimes guns NEED to be used and you should be thinking about the well being of a wild animal instead of voicing you opinion about what you call gun happy maniacs. Do you want the animal to be helped or do you honestly want it to suffer? Think about THAT!
-
Trevor Bloom say: animal control
-
Thomas say: Call animal control.
-
Latcho say: And what are we to do about that cos its another copy and paste question.
-
Nick say: I would call animal control and have them handle it.
-
Star_of_Darkness say: Nothing you can do. It has to be shot. Deer are very fragile animals and when injured they don't heal well and don't do well at wild life centers so they are always shot and put down
