You can speculate that most live forms cannot pass this natural selection threshold in the universe and will be recycled as evolution waste.

Life is rare in the universe but whenever conditions are right it will necessarily happen --- it is just chemical phenomenon on biological level --- it depend on natural environment; but the rational life that can pass the most important and most difficult natural selection threshold is much rarer – it is difficult indeed. It depends on this intelligent life’s self-consciousness and will power --- it depends on themselves. Nature cannot help on thinking information evolution level though it is the nature that send us to that level.

They are the superior and privileged beings in the universe.
