Energy dissipation is a process of entropy grows. In normal conditions, it is a process that the order of energy (concentrated dense energy) convert into the order of mass (of its complicated and ordered structure and movement) --- the decay of energy cause the order of the mass. And in extreme conditions, it is a process that the order of mass (of its complicated and ordered structure and movement) convert into the order of energy (concentrated dense energy) --- the decay of mass causes the order of the energy and the entropy decrease.
Evolution is two way self-inducing, self-maintaining oscillation process that never stop --- entropy deceasing in the process of mass state matter evolve into energy state matter in the extreme conditions driven by the gravitation of mass state matter; entropy growing in the process of energy state matter evolve into mass state matter in normal conditions driven by energy dissipation.
The fundamental reason for evolution is the fundamental tendency of matter existence --- matter tends to stay in a thermodynamically more stable state of that moment. And that moment (of conditions) changes driven by the fundamental movement of matter --- energy dissipation and mass concentration. And the universe is keeping its movement in this natural dynamic balance. So evolution is being induced in this process and can never stop.
To interpret and understand evolution in its general meaning will help to prevent narrow and shallow view point of evolution and prevent wrong application of it.
Have to point out that: There is a higher stage of natural evolution that nature cannot complete by its own direct action: ordering of the manmade structure and manmade social system --- because it is a natural law that “natural process will bring about destructive effects on manmade structure” (Order Out of Chaos, Ilya Prigogine. Published 1984). Nature prepare intelligent life with long term evolution and finally when the time is come, place the most important and most difficult natural selection threshold in front of this intelligent life --- be a rational being (being for itself) or remain an animal (being in itself). With this natural selection threshold, nature demand this intelligent life to order their own manmade structure and manmade social system with their own rational thinking directed rational efforts. Scientist always wonders why nature gave us a brain that we only can use 10 % of its capacity. Now the question is --- can we use this “oversized” and “over prepared” brain to get us out of the trouble and get us into future?
