Could the speed our Milky Way galaxy travels create our components of Time?

answers:
Campbell Hayden say: The answer to your question, is "no".
Time is far too malleable to be constant.
Having given it the status of being a dimension,
and then attempting to guesstimate its speed relative to
the speed of the Milky Way Galaxy, would lead to nothing but errors.
-
goring say: time is absolute.we are using a little bit at one Time and it varies from galaxy to another
-
Athena say: No, time is independent of our galaxy's movement, however it does determine how fast time passes for us.
-
Tom say: You can think of time as a constant INHERENT MOVEMENT in all matter in the DIRECTION of the 4th dimension. ---at a speed of (sqrt c)/2 the only real, absolute motion. All other motion in our 3D POV is relative, based on the different vector angles between particles of THIS motion.. c is the fastest relative speed at 90 degrees, BTW, the speed of light.

Ronald 7 say: 250 Billion years for one revolution ?
I don't really think so
Try jumping into a Black Hole
-
David say: It takes a 100.000 years for our galaxy to rotate just once. So time is not effected by that.Besides time is relevant to beholders differently in different areas.Study Einsteins Time delation. If one took off at the speed of liight and travel for say a year and then return. They would be a couple of years old but all the people they knew would be long dead centuries earlier. JESUS BLESS YOU

Acetek say: No....................
-
daniel g say: It wouldn't create time, but we are relative, so no shifting if that is your notion.
Not fast enough anyway for significance.
-
quantumclaustrophobe say: Nah. We don't travel fast enough for relativistic effects to take place.

MR ANFIELD ACES say: lol @ you're so insignificant compared to the thing you're asking a question about..
-
CarolOklaNola say: No. Speed is meaningless without time. The speed of ANYTHING ANYWHERE in the Universe is meaningless without time. How we MEASURE time is a human made construct, but time existed long before human beings evolved. The Universe is NOT static. It is evolving.

Zardoz say: You're speaking gibberish.
