Why is it that no other planet in any solar system can support life other than Earth?

answers:
Amy say: We don’t know for sure that that is the case. There could be other planets out there beyond what we’ve discovered which could support human life.
-
TheUniversalMatrix say: Cuz` no other planet is so stupid?...
-
Harman say: Self aggrandizement
-
Manuel say: We do not know if there is life on other planets...yet.
-
David say: Because Earth is a closed system. Humans can't and have not gone to "space" to prove that planets are 3 dimentional bodies that are floating through "space".
-
say: And to think the trump morons want to trash it anyway with their off-roading in national parks, cutting down Joshua trees, etc

jerryir say: And you know this because...…..I look forward to your intelligent response,
-
Paula say: That has not been proven.
All we can say at the moment is that there is no life on the other planets in this solar system.
We have no way to investigate planets of other solar systems.
-
Matt say: We dont know that with 100% certainty. There is still a possibility of other forms of life in universe.
-

Do you have any idea how dumb you sound?

Mr.Longrove say: For thus says the Lord,
Who created the heavens,
Who is God,
Who formed the earth and made it,
Who has established it,
Who did not create it in vain,
Who formed it to be inhabited:
“I am the Lord, and there is no other.

Aqua say: No one really knows why there are no other planets in the solar system that can support life. All I can say is that was the way it was created. There could be life out there but no one really knows. Maybe one day the human race will expand out to the stars.

Like a fish in a Pond, do you it is thinking of other fish in other ponds ?
-
Donut Tim say: Life formed where it could rather than where it could not.
Is that surprising?
-
goring say: The Earth was a Unique Creation.
-
quantumclaustrophobe say: We don't know if that statement is true... we only *know* of life on Earth, but there's a definite possibility that life can exist on other planets. We simply haven't detected it. Yet.
Until there's more evidence (either way) - all anyone has is opinion. (Mine is, there probably *is* life beyond our solar system... but, I have to acknowledge that this may not be the case.)
-
JetDoc say: There's no proof that your statement is true, Skippy. We've only been searching in space for a few years. Just because we haven't found "Life As We Know It" on any other planet YET doesn't mean it's not out there. There are TRILLIONS of planets in the Universe that we haven't searched yet, and there may be thousands of other intelligent lifeforms still waiting to be found (or for them to find US!)
-

MOVE TO MARS /LET US KNOW ON THE PLANET MARS.
-
Nick say: Earth has the perfect conditions, (including an atmosphere , liquid oceans & an orbit in the habitable zone ) to support life . It is highly unlikely that any other of the planets harbor life, but it has not yet been definitively ruled out ...
-
JOHN say: We're still not absolutely sure about this - why all the Mars Landings, probes and etc? Something may have happened on that planet many hundreds of thousands of years ago - life - we do not know. There might even be 'life on Mars' in a form unreconizable to us. If it's there, we will find it. The Chinese have a Mars probe which is going to dig beneath the surface to try to find if there is 'Life on Mars'.

-
John P say: That is possibly - and I stress "possibly" - not true. Apparently there is evidence on Mars that life may have existed there, and also on, or rather within, one of the moons of Saturn. But certainly not advanced life as on Earth - no "little green men"!
-
Fred say: Earth supports an abundant diversity of life.
That simple forms of life are absent, outside of on Earth, in our solar system has not been proven... YET.
The Earth has all the ' Goldilocks syndrome' qualities... not too warm, too cold, for abundant life.
-
Adullah M say: Because they never intend in their creation for carrying lives as on earth.
-
say: Either too hot or too cold.
-
Tom S say: First, we are not yet sure that is true, second, life as we know it has several specific requirements which are not real common on other planets in our system.

MysteryGuy say: Earth is the only one close enough, yet far enough from the sun's proximity to support life.
-
Poseidon say: If you are talking about our own Galaxy, the Milky Way there are billions of Stars in this Galaxy with billion of Planets and Moons orbiting them.
The possibility of life on any of these Planets or Moons is extremely possible. However, what stage of evolution this life is in we don't know. It could be still swimming around in the Primordial Soup or there could be intelligent life far, far superior in both intelligence and technology.
We have not found any forms of life as yet in any of theses Star systems.
With regard to life elsewhere in the Universe. I believe those who think that we are the only lifeforms are being extremely naïve.
With so many billions of Galaxies, trillions of Stars and trillions of Planets and Moons I am positive in my own mind that the Universes is teeming with life and some of that life is greatly superior to us.
-
Alan S say: We don't know that. Just because we haven't discovered life elsewhere doesn't mean that there isn't any. We are very limited in our ability to explore other planets, especially those outside of our solar system.

-
David say: Most likely a completely false statement but we'll never know for sure.
-
sparrow say: Europa, one of Jupiter's moons, is thought to have a water ocean. It's possible that it may have
microbial life, extremophiles, maybe. The main reason that there's life only on Earth is because
Earth is in the 'goldilocks' zone; it's the right distance form the sun, so it doesn't get frozen out, or
fried to a crsp. And it also had the right chemical make-up.
-
say: I didn't read the link, but I've read that, out of over 3900 planets ours is the ONLY one that is in a system that has the larger planets that are incapable of supporting life, as we know it, further away from the sun than the smaller planets that could support life. Of course, if the large planets are closer, the smaller ones are blocked from the sun's nourishing rays, and too cold, or too far away from the sun to be warm enough. So, how did we get here?
-
Alexis say: There are some articles saying that mars can support life too.
-

NiJo say: Go 5 days without any drinking. You'll figure it out.

Who say: 1) read a book that tells you about the conditions on the other planets
2) read a book on evolution that tells you how evolution works
3) have a think (in your case - a long one)
4) if you cant work it out then go back to 1)

Daniel say: Because Earth is in exactly the right spot that's neither very hot nor very cold; all the other rest of the planets are too close as to be very hot, or too far as to be very cold.
-
Trent say: Because all the other planet's don't exist. I can't believe the government can push such stupid crap down all of your throat's. The earth is flat.
-
CarolOklaNola say: FALSE premise. How do YOU know that Earth is the ONLY planet where planet that life has EVER existed for 13.8+ BILLION years. You DO NOT know this. Neither does anyone else. Circular logic based on a FALSE premise CANNOT be resolved.
-
PhotonX say: And you know that how, exactly?

-
Acetek say: ah there is no evidence to support what you stated.
All we know about exoplanets of which there are now 4001 is that they are there and we can roughly calculate their mass. That is about it. Where in this can you infer that no life can be on them
