quantumclaustrophobe say: I agree... the origin of everything isn't known. There are theories, but that's all they are, right now. All we really know is that the universe is expanding, and that expansion is apparently accelerating. In all the work and display that Sagan and Tyson are responsible for - outside of sheer conjecture - I don't think you'll find either of them stating what the actual 'origin' is.

everything in the universe from the very big to the very small has a life and a death; in-between, they have growth, aging, and decline or sickness.
this current universe came from a previous universe, so it is not a clone-universe and identical, but has varied and is different.
both religion and physics suggest to me that it is most accurate current theory.
