No global magnetic field means the solar wind starts stripping off earth's atmosphere, just like happened to mars.
Birds and other animals might have their migration patterns disrupted. Geese are migrating back north right now in the northern hemisphere...
The REASON Earth has a magnetic field is because Earth's OUTER core IS LIQUID and it it rotates at a DIFFERENT RATE than Earth's crust rotates.. The liquid OUTER core is SLOWLY cooling of and crystallizing and becoming more viscous as it crystallizes into a solid because it is cooling off. Earth's global magnetic field is NOT going to suddenly "turn off". Yes i realize this a hypothetical question.
Another side effect is would be all the compasses would go nuts. but the the GPS satellites probably would not be affected. Anticipating someone insisting that magnetic lines do not go into or come out of the ground, Get a compass, go outside, and hold the compass vertically. IT STILL WORKS..

The oceans would evaporate as the air pressure decreases and sublimate. But that would NOT happen instantaneously. How fast it would take depends on the velocity and acceleration AND POWER of the solar wind. Earth would STILL be radiating infrared and microwave heat into outer space and, and that would happen FASTER as the atmosphere disappears, because clouds and water vapor are FOR MORE effective in contributing to global warming than carbon dioxide and sulfuric acid and nitric acid and acetic acid in Earth's air..
If any this inspires you to become a scientist when you grow up, GREAT!!!.This is WHY i spend so much of time on YA answering questions like this one.

Acetek say: the solar winds would strip away the Earths atmosphere and water
Solar and cosmic radiation would fry us to a scrip
any survivors would have to move underground
