spot a say: It is not a science. Some call it a pseudo science but this is a bad term to use. Although there is a lot of mathematical calculation associated with astrology, there is no basis in fact for these calculations, except for hundreds or even thousands of years of observations of human actions and the relative position of objects in the sky. Jupiter and all the planets do have a gravitational effect on a person, but astrologers do not seem to care about the distance from you to the planet in their calculations. They seem to care about the angle of the planet in the sky.
Questions: Does Indian astrology and Chinese astrology give the same result as Western astrology? Are numerology and phrenology more or less accurate in predictions than astrology

mike1942-f say: Because the supposed influence of stars at varying distances that make arrangements (constellations) that only we can see from Earth isn't science - it is junk entertainment.

CarolOklaNola say: Astrology is pseudo -scince is why astrology IS entertainment, NOT serious scince for most people. My mother thought al psychiatrists were quack. I am not that closed minded. My last psychiatrist was a good psychiatrist., but he specializes in children and adolescents.
Astrology is NOT scince, not for 500 years..

Jason say: Because it's not a science. It's made-up baloney that is easily demonstrated false. That's been done literally countless times. That's why it's not in the science section.

PhotonX say: You're not going to make any friends in here talking like that.
