Actually, it won't pass in between Earth and the moon directly - but it will pass within the moon's orbit.

You're about a day early, and way too far east to get a good view. You would also need quite a large amateur telescope (250mm aperture or greater) and excellent up-to-date star charts.

I don't know, but I'll bet you need a sophisticated telescope to see it. Its something like 1200 feet across and won't get any closer than 200,000 miles from earth.

you wont be able to see it. If you want to see it you'll need a strong telescope.

no!!! not unless you have a 6-inch telescope or bigger!! it is too small to see at that distance!
