We have many thousands of earthquakes every year. There is no evidence to suggest that 2012 will be anything other than an ordinary year. Anyone who tells you otherwise is lying.

Its just another way to make money e.g the Y2k bug, the earth isnt going to randomly end and if it was how on earth could Mayans or Aztecs have known this to the exact date. seriously worry about something else like gamma ray bursts or colliding galaxies.

Wow. Scary. One "earthquake" that you didn't even feel and another that could have caused damage if it was wearing "big boy" pants.
"live in the now" and "Nobody knows for sure". The first is not BAD advice, but you have to have GOALS too. The second is just another way of saying "why are you asking me?" Let me say with 100% certainty that the 2012 doomsday claims are hoaxes. There is not a doubt in my mind. How can I be certain? Simple. The people making these claims are con-men, druggies and crazies. There is NO SUCH THING as a real prophet. Never has been. Don't you think if someone was a real "seer" that they would have been very loud on August 31st, 1939 or Sept 10th, 2001? People that claim they or ANYONE can see or did see the future are CRAZY.
So, if I can't "see" the future, why am I 100% certain that the doomsday claims won't happen? Let me see if I can explain. If "Crazy Charlie" down the street told you that the Sun won't come up tomorrow, because it will be held back in the sky by Super-Glue, would you think:
1) It 100% sure he is right. Super Glue is sticky stuff!
2) It's 50-50. Either it happens or it doesn't.
3) It MIGHT happen. How do we know for sure? How does anyone?
4) Charlie is whacked. There is ABSOLUTELY NO CHANCE he is right. Here comes the Sun.
