A skeptic might say all dreams can be made to parallel reality if you interpret them properly, or if you wait long enough. But I dispute that. Since on several occasions my dreams were either explicit, not symbolic; or they were symbolic but nevertheless I woke up with a single persisting interpretation. In any case, my exact interpretation, plus or minus a few minor details, ended up being the exact case of the matter. Whats more, within minutes to hours of the dream. I even had a "precognitive" dream occur concurrently to the event, geographically separated by at least 700 miles. And you might even argue that if you search the worlds news you will find a similar story, and that might be true. But when it hits close to home each and every time, if not in your family life, then all odds are beaten, are they not?
So experience has taught me precognition is real and I dont claim to be at all psychic. Going from being an atheistic individual to being forced to recognize the legitimacy of precognition and its spiritual implications has made me more theistic over the years. Skepticism is fine when youre dealing with your typical "brain fart". Frankly I would reject out-of-hand any "psychological" event that occurred under duress, stress, or drug use as being even remotely spiritual. But how could knowledge of information about the future make its way into your head through no tangible medium, transcending both space and time? One might say "impossible" unless you posit the transcendental realm, which exists outside of all reason and empiricism. I have searched high and low for scientific explanations and havent been able to find any.
Fact is, the bigots who insist on calling it absurd will never experience proof to the contrary. And they will die believing they are right. Faith begets faith, as they say. Its true. Those of us who have experiential evidence know better, but its not communicable or communal except as an unprovable personal claim. You and I cannot ever convince anyone who chooses not to believe - and those people are not being rational at all. Skepticism does not entail a persistent denial until proof is had, it entails the choice to be open to any alternative as-yet un-disproven possibility.
