Is fog a type of cloud

Kind of. It's not it's own cloud but tt is a type of stratus cloud that is low to the ground when it is cold at the earths surface.

Fog is a type of stratus cloud. The stratus clouds are low level clouds that you usually see on a day where it's overcast.
