Hence speed of light (v) =2.=2.=11.243 x10^6miles/s-Divided by 1.600 gives Miles/sec (divided by 1.800: Nautical Miles/sec),......
Since 1 mile=1600 m...and 1 min.=60 sec.
Hence speed of light (v) =2.998x10^8 m/s
=2.998x10^8x60/1600
=11.243 x10^6miles/s

Divided by 1.600 gives Miles/sec (divided by 1.800: Nautical Miles/sec), because one Mile is 1.600 m, one nautical mile is 1.800 m. . Multiplied by 60 gives Miles or Nautical Miles per minute. I have no pocket calculator here. You must divide and multiply yourself.
