This means that theres a x and y coordinate for each point. Simply label them as x1, x2, and y1, y2.The formula for a slope: y2 - y1/ x2 -x1.......
Rise over run.
The change in the y value divided by the change in the x value.

Simple, you have 2 points on a graph. This means that there's a x and y coordinate for each point. Simply label them as x1, x2, and y1, y2.

The formula for a slope: y2 - y1/ x2 -x1.

You can even put the other way: y1 - y2/ x1 - x2, doesn't matter.

In other words, you can simplify it even further to Δy/ Δx

Δ is "delta" which means "a change in"

Slope is also written as "m"

So finally: m = Δy/Δx

-
Take any two points on the line.

The slope is Δy / Δx

-
Y2-y1/x2-x1
