I have an interesting physics questions regarding the center of gravity?
Bassically, you have the centre of gravity don't you, where theres the core in the middle of the earth,
so what is the core made out of?
I just think, that if someone dug a hole, from one side of the core , to the other, like a tunnel, and people could travel down it,
then, in the middle of the earth, would you just be floating? Since gravity up, and gravity down, it would stay the same???

Known science tells us that the Core has 2 parts: The outer core, and inner core.
The outer core is said to be made of liquid Iron and Nickel.
The inner core is said to be a solid alloy of Iron and Nickel.
Due to how gravity behaves, there would be a single point in the Earth's inner core that one would be attracted to (if the inner core were not solid). You would not be "floating" as you are much bigger than this singular point, and your body would be crushed into this point.
Your entire body would be crushed/incinerated before it got anywhere near the core however due to the massive amounts of pressure and heat.
As for the tunnel: It would be impossible to dig a tunnel to the core (much less through it) with today's technology.
This is the best way i can explain it without detailing all the complexities of this scenario.
