If a 1.7 kg object is pulled with 10 Newtons of force at a constant speed,

= 0.= 1.= 8.= 1.7 * 9.81* 8 * 0.......
what is the coefficient of friction and how would you find it? what if the acceleration was 5 m/s and the coeffiecient was 8 meus(not sure how to spell it but its a cursive m symbol), how would you find the force in newtons? thanks :)

since object is pulled at a constant speed, ie acc = 0
force 10N was used to overcome friction
friction force = 10N
coefficient of friction = 10 / 1.7 * g
= 0.5996
answer

if acc = 5 m/s2
force 1= m * a
= 1.7 * 5
= 8.5 N
force 2 to overcome friction
= 1.7 * 9.81 * 8 * 0.5996
= 80N
total force
= 8.5 + 80
= 88.5N
