How do you find the speed of a wave

Calculate the waves speed in m/s.If 55 pass through in 4.5sec & the wavelength is 0.4.5sec / 55 = the time one phase passes through = 0.Phase velocity = 0.......
The distance between two successive crests on a water wave is 87.0 mm. It is also noted that 55.0 crests pass a given point along the direction of travel every 4.50 seconds. Calculate the wave's speed in m/s.

I'm very confused

-
phase velocity = wavelength / time

If 55 pass through in 4.5sec & the wavelength is 0.087m (87mm) then we can say

4.5sec / 55 = the time one phase passes through = 0.082 (3dp)

Phase velocity = 0.087 / 0.082 = 1.061m/s
