If 11 is 30% of x, what is x

This is not for math homework, I'm doing a presentation for geography. I have to create a power point, and have 11 slides of a particular section. This section is supposed to be 30% of my presentation, and I need to anticipate how many more slides I have to create. Thank you!

11 = 0.3x
x = 11/0.3
x = 36.66666667 = 36 2/3

I would do 1/.3 = 3.33333
now 11 + 3.33333 = 36.66666
so it looks like you need 37 slides total with rounding.

Just set up a proportion

30/100= 11/x

1100/30= 37

Logan, 11 + 3.33333 =14.33333

you have to do between 30 and 35 slides :)
