720 / 300]*432/0.410 = 3.......
A large cylindrical tank contains 0.720 m^3 of nitrogen gas at 27.0 C and 1.45×10^5 Pa (absolute pressure). The tank has a tight-fitting piston that allows the volume to be changed.

Use the relation P*V/T = constant (T in ºK)

Initial state P1 = 1.45*10^5 Pa V1 = 0.720 m³ T1 = 273 + 27 = 300 ºK
Final state P2 = ? V2 = 0.410 m³ T2 = 273 + 159 = 432 ºK

1.45*10^5 * 0.720 / 300 = P2 * 0.410 / 432

solve for P2:

P2 = [1.45*10^5 * 0.720 / 300]*432/0.410 = 3.67*10^5 Pa
