Would like to know in a short, descriptive answer that I can understand (:

Opposite of extensor. A flexor is a muscle that contracts as a limb is pulled in toward the body such as the bicep. An extensor is a muscle that contracts upon the limb being extended away from the body such as the quadriceps or triceps.
