Definitely, it is possible. Theoretically, space and time are intimately related. And we can have access to the space at a definite time in the future as Einstein's equations of relativity tell so. But, metaphysics and hypothetical reasoning also leads into a conclusion that the time and space of the past can also be accessed- as I have learned as a curious thinker. You can Observe time travel even today in sub-atomic particle laboratories like the Cyclotron- in it, actually particles really time travel.
But, buddy, for humans, it's tough to do so with the modern day technology. I expect it couldn't be available for the next century of so. But, the sub atomic particles travel time and space in the past and the future- as they move with very high speed. But humans are a cluster of those particles and a system- bitter to say that we need to wait for technology to invent such vehicles for us.
Truly speaking, I don't trust what the documentaries speak of nowadays as very big and powerful machines needed for it, but they unknowingly argue them to be based on modern day techniques in which they run (on thrust produced due to some atomic reactions). But, I personally think of producing such vehicles only after finding the particles that cause gravity and using those particles to intensify the gravitational fields of of our Time-Travel-Machine to get acceleration and using anti-particles or other such to shield the travelers and then only we can travel the time and approach the ultimate speed for a system- a system of atoms and particles as we humans are so.

it depends what you class as time travel as if you travel'd through time you would be in the same spot as you are now just in a different time and everything would create a paradox unless the idea of a multi-verse falls into play not impossible but unlikely for this reason.
