I have two white tree frogs. One, he is always green and he has a certain place in the tank he loves. The other, is brown 80% of the time. He always hides in the hide away in the tank, even under there he is brown. My boss at Petco says it could be that I didn't have a back ground. That a background might make him feel safe and camouflage and that might be why he is hiding. I went ant bought one. . . and he is still mostly brown

he is camouflaging because he scared of the other frog
