If you feel threatened you may want to sage the house. Do this by burning sage in the corners of the room and around the doorways. You could also just clap up the corners of the room until the sound is clear. If you dont want to do any of those because they sound rediculous to you, just tell it go away or there will be consequences. Dont show fear, thats what makes them stronger because they feed off of it. They are scared away by light, so keep alot of those on, plus, your more scared in the dark. It also may be a good spirit trying to tell you or warn you about something, try to find out if it is good or not by asking. It WILL give you a sign.

Interesting.... Firstly, I suggest that you conduct research on the house itself and see if anyone committed suicide or was murdered in the house. Secondly, if you are unable to do so, I suggest you call a priest who would cleanse the house of evil spirits. Thirdly, you can contact the spirit and read out fromthe Bible. Find out what to read out from your church priest.
Also, there are groups of people, and sometimes only one person, that specialize in removing spirits. You can find people like this in the internet. These are the ways which I know of. If all fails, I suggest you vacate the house. BE CAREFUL. There is a possibility that the spirit does not haunt the house but may haunt you.

From what l understand ghost ate lost souls. You need to talk to the ghost and tell it that it is dead and needs to go before God and god will then direct him where to go otherwise it will rome around that place until he does it. l actually witnessed a person talking to a spirit, a lady who died in the house we rented, unbeknown to us, woke up and my lady friend was talking to this lady who did not know she died and seemed to be lost or confused as to what to do. That is why l said what l said in the beginning. You will be helping her on her soul journey.
