Could a ghost hurt you

I stayed the night and then the next morning i had these cuts and about two minuets later they were gone . please explain what could be happening-Spirits cant hurt u unless they throw something at u.Sprites also dont have enough energy to kill a human its impossible.The cuts were a warning or away to let u know tht thy r there.Try to talk to it and ask it questions if u wanna get rid of it.Oh and sometimes spirits haunt u cuz they think ur some1 else.......
