Last night when I was falling asleep there was a creaking sound coming from near my tv and when I sat up in bed to look over there it stopped. I layed back down and it started happening again like a minute later. It wasn't my cat. I went and turned the hall light on lol. What could it be?

Well first of all does your house have any history of paranormal phanominea.Has any one died in your house or something.The best you can do is just investigate . Heres a trick try getting a peice of paper and get a cup draw a ring on the out line of the cup if the cup moves without any one touching it that means you could have a entity in your house.

If it was a spirit it would be banging and not making anything in the walls move to get attention. As the temperature of the house changes so dose the wood in the walls changes. As that happens they can make noises if the wood is loosened in any way.

If you've watched paranormal activity and your scared of ghost that may be your problem. You might just be hearing noises and thinking there is something there maybe because of what happens in the film. It's nothing to worry about your perfectly safe :) Hope I helped :)
