I have recently been looking into ghost stories and paranormal stuff, so naturally I am now scared of there being one in my house. I have lived in this house for over 6 years. There has never been anything paranormal or ghostly weird so i wondered..could a ghost "move in"? Like just come from another place and settle in? Thanks for your answers.

I understand you're not looking for "they're not real" answers to ghosts but there is no such thing as a ghost. You won't see, hear, or smell any ghosts because they don't exist. However, it's obvious you "believe" in ghosts. Since that's the case, according to stories, a ghost is tied to a particular place usually because of some tragedy it experienced while alive. So, to answer your question, I'd say a big fat "no".

i agree with "AyeItsRaiden", unless your house has a "bloody" history or you are holding onto a memento that belonged to them they have no reason to be there and they will move on to the white light.

A ghost is a ghost because they are not done living so they are holding on to something,such as a loved one or a house.A ghost wouldn't move into your house unless you have a momento that belongs to them,to haunt you
