sounds like a case of the googlie ooglies...i would get somebody who is an expert on ghosts in your room QUICK....some ghosts start out like that,, but then they scratch you and stuff while your asleep....watch out!!!!!!

If you live in a big city environment then it could be noise from people outside.
I once heard someone whisper my name 3 times in one day and i was alone at home ( once in the shower, another while sitting on the couch and i dont remember where the third one was, it was a while back)
Too scared to fall asleep? if you have a telly in your room then put on a nice dvd perhaps showing a comedy or movie, or even you can play it if you have a laptop or pc in your room (http://www.free-tv-video-online.me/) or also a radio would do. that should at least distract you and help you sleep comfortably at least.
