For a meniscus tear removal, the doctor will most likely make two cuts around your knee. One entrance is for a camera, and the other entrance is for the removing instrument. The doctor is able to see what his is removing by performing the surgery this way. You can start putting weight on your knee after two days and you will immediately start physical therapy to keep your knee active. Best of Luck!
