My sister just called crying, she said whenever she masturbates her groin lymph glands swell and hurt. She said after a week or two they go down but now she's afraid to masturbate. The doctor told her its probably just a sebaceous cyst or something and blew her off. What could be causing this? She seems clen and she doesn't sleep around or have any STD that she knows of. She said she also is prone to UTI infections but no longer gets the burning urine, just bladder pressure but ti all goes away for months but comes back when she masts. Please give tips. Thanks.

Seek out an GYN. In the mean time, UTIs in women are commonly caused by vaginal contamination with colonic bacteria. I can't predict what is taking place in this instance but instruct her to keep everything in the area and any "tools" she might be using clean, as the UTIs can be caused by many species of bacteria found on all surfaces. The swollen lymph glands are likely caused by the UTI.
