How does the nervous system maintain homeostasis for life?
And please if you have extra time, can you also tell how
--Digestive System
--Immune System
--Circulatory System
--Respiratory System
--Excretory System
also maintain homeostasis?

-
Homeostasis means keeping a constant internal body environment(around the cells of the body)
Excretory system does two homeostatic functions:-osmoregulaton(maintaining a constant water and salt level in the body) and excretion(removal of waste products of metabolism from an organism)
Circulatory system does hoemostasis by maintaining the blood concentration with the release of the anti-diuretic(ADH) hormone
Nervous system does homeostasis by maintaining temperature regulation(through shivering, sweating, vasodilation and vasoconstriction, hair erector muscles )
Digestive system does homeostasis by maintaining the blood sugar level by releasing insulin, glucagon and adrenaline hormones
I know only this much for now, hope this little I know would help you.
