I switched my major to nursing in the middle of this semester, and now at some point I'm going to have to take two notoriously difficult sciences at the same time. choices are as follows: A&P and Micro this fall, or A&P II and micro in the spring. Either way, I'm going to have to dedicate much of my time to these subjects. Which would you suggest I do? oh, and I also have to have filler courses to keep my scholarships as well (I'm more than likely just going to take yoga, tai chi, and an easy anthropology course).
my College adviser is absolutely useless.

Sounds like a good plan you have to take easy filler courses along with those. I did the same thing. If you are already pretty comfortable with biology as a subject (and maybe have a bit of chemistry under your belt already), I'd say just do A&P I and micro and get the rough semester over with! If you haven't had a bio in a bit and maybe need a refresher on the cellular biology/biochemistry, you should probably just do A&P I and save micro for the semester with A&P II. A&P I is a lot of memorization of what's what in the body, but also learning exactly what is going on at a cellular level. To get a good basis for A&P II, you should really know what things are and have an overview of how they work. II you just get into even more depth with that basis.
I had just done a chemistry course, a bio course, and a human body 100 level, so I went right into micro and A&P I the next semester and found that it went pretty well. Lots of A&P I was biochem review and bones, muscles etc! And micro was fun! Hope this helps!
