My boyfriend found 4 cotton tail bunnies when he was doing lawn work. About 5 feet away from their nest was what is assumed to be their mother, dead. He brought them home I bottle fed them until they were comfortable enough to eat alfalfa. Now that I know they are out of risk of dying right away I want to give them to an organization. Where do I call and give them to? I live in Minnesota. Thanks (:
Sorry I know I already asked this but people keep thinking they are pet rabbits. They are not. They are wild

Call the local Animal Control officer and ask for the contact for the wildlife rehabilitators they work with. Another option is finding someone that runs beagles. The bunnies are not hurt; they are kept in a big outdoor enclosure and the beagles chase them as they learn to hunt. It's not too unusual for the bunnies, once they know how to escape the dogs safely, to actually start playing with them! If you've ever seen a squirrel torment a cat, you know exactly what I'm talking about....
However, your best bet is to contact a wildlife rehabber. You can google "Wildlife rehab "your city or county" minnesota" and get links that way. If no one wants to take them, consider someone that runs beagles, as they'll be safe and sheltered. They can also simply be released at this point, if they are grazing on their own. Don't do it immediately; give them a week or so of days outside in a big dog crate or something first!!!!! A rehabber could walk you through this.
